Director's Statement
As a screenwriter, director and producer, I shot an updated version of 'Der Linkshänder' about Adolf Hitler's childhood in Linz. The 1999 film was completely updated in 2024: format, editing, sound, and the original 3/4 aspect ratio replaced with 16:9. I decided to investigate the nature of evil with the drama of left-handed children. What if we don't stigmatise evil? What if the devil is laid on the operating table?
