Sissi
Sissi (Daniela Olivieri, Bologna, 1977) is an Italian artist living between Bologna and London. A multifaceted and innovative personality, she starts from performance to investigate subjectivity and the social and emotional construction of the body — an emotional anatomy that unfolds through constant experimentation across different artistic disciplines: performance, sculpture, drawing, and photography.
Biography
Trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna, in 2001 she was selected by the Fondazione Antonio Ratti for the Advanced Course in Visual Arts led by the artist Marina Abramovic.
