Accessibility Statement

Anotherstory Lab Ltd is committed to making anotherstory.film accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of how we design, not an afterthought, and we work continually to improve the experience for all our visitors.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content more accessible, across three levels: A, AA and AAA. We have designed anotherstory.film to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

At present the site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA: most content meets the standard, while some does not yet fully conform, as described below. We are actively working to close the remaining gaps.

What we currently provide

Captions (subtitles) on every film on the platform.
Keyboard navigation across the site, including the curated paths and the film player.
Support for reduced-motion preferences, so animations and transitions are minimised for visitors who request it.
Clear, semantic page structure and meaningful text alternatives for images.

Known exceptions (content that does not yet fully conform)

Audio description for prerecorded video (WCAG 2.2 Success Criterion 1.2.5, Level AA): our films do not yet include audio-description tracks. Producing audio description requires dedicated voice recording and post-production, which we have planned as part of our accessibility roadmap. In the meantime every film carries captions, and we are glad to discuss alternative formats on request.

Some other content may not yet fully meet Level AA. Where you encounter a barrier, please tell us (see Feedback) and we will do our best to provide the information or function you need in an accessible way.
